Legal Question in Business Law in Washington

forgery on account

i had a company forge money from my bank account.. it caused 1400.00 wirth of nsf charges.. and they are not answering my requests for compensation for what they caused,.. they returned the money they took initially.. yet they are dragging out paying me the money they caused to nsf... arent they liable? why wont they answer me? do i have any recourse? my payroll checks auto-deposit and for seven weeks it went over drawn.. help !!!

Yes, they should be liable for the costs of your NSF checks and perhaps the harm to your credit. A letter from a lawyer would go a long way toward resolving the problem.

Before you see the lawyer, make a neat list of all the money this has cost you, along with all documents readily available to you that prove the amounts.
