Legal Question in Business Law in Washington

I run a business. someone called and was trying to get my personal info from one of my store employees. After she refused he told her that he was a lawyer and that if she did not give him my info then she would be subponaed. she said she was scared so she gave him my full name, address, and phone number. Is it legal to threaten someone into giving info like this?

If the information this "lawyer" was seeking is not business confidential or secret, the lawyer is free to subpoena her for a deposition and ask her for it then. There are limits, however, such as cost to do so, a lawsuit in progress for which he seeks the information, all weighted with the trouble and inconvenience to your employee (and to you) to get public information with a subpoena. All in all, it is irregular for a lawyer to seek public information that way, but probably not illegal.
