Legal Question in Criminal Law in Washington

My brother took a plea agreement on a possession charge and was sent to prison for 1 yr it will also be a probation violation out of another county which he would like to file for a speedy trial on so he doesn't have to go back as soon as he is released to deal with that charge and warrant how to I go about helping him? Were in Washington state

He can send a request to the county with the probation violation case. There is a form he can get from the prison that will work. It's commonly called a detainer request, or a request for transport.
