They are trying to convict my son of car prowling in the second degree. The police asked for pictures of students including my son but all were white kids and he was the only biracial child also this i was told happened off of school grounds

I'm not sure about your point about this happening off of school grounds. As for the identification, certainly the fact that your son stood out in the identification process "tainted" the result. The first argument that your attorney should make is to the Judge that the entire ID should be thrown out and the case dismissed. If that fails, the second argument is to the jury where you show them the photo and explain that clearly the police suggested your son as a suspect to the witness/es.
