Re: do he have to get prison time

Dear T,

Thank you for your question. I am sorry your son is in such dire straits. I have two sons of my own and can imagine the difficult time you are having. Everything you would like is a possibility but how realistic I couldn't even begin to say. Every individual case is so fact specific. I don't even know the nature of the charge but anything that can result in 10 years is very serious. What is the nature of the case against your son? How many witnesses and how credible are they? Is there other evidence, either circumstantial or direct that suggest guilt or innocence? Does your son have anything that should be considered? Is he mentally ill or just a nice person who has volunteer coached? Then the issue becomes who is your prosecutor and likely judge. My consultation fee is $200 if you would like to discuss these issues in detail. Please contact me directly.
