As a prosecuting attorney...

I'm looking into becoming a prosectung attorney but first I need some questions answered. As a prosecuting attorney, do you have to worrie about safty? I mean, are you safe from the defendant(criminal) after they are done serving time? Another question I have is do you get to become a prosecuter right from law school or do you have to be a non goverment lawyer first then work your way up? Do you ever have to prosecute inocent people? Thank you so much for reading my question! Have a wonderful day!
