Re: witness lists

Rebuttal witnesses are usually not disclosed since, in theory, they will not be called. A rebuttal witness is used to show that the primary witness was inaccurate or lying about something. It is assumed witnesses will be accurate and honest. So, it is not necessary to disclose a witness that will show that they were not.
