Wrongly accused. 3rd Assault & 3rd Mal Mish
Thank you for your time.
I am a 18 year old male.
I was at a random party and I did not know anyone, I was offered beer and I became intoxicated(supplying to a minor?), one of the hosts of the party wanted to box for fun, using boxing gloves. I agreed and we went outside on the street and begin boxing.
The guy was considerably bigger then me and he begin to become angry and wanted to fight without the boxing gloves. His friends cheered him on, but I disagreed, because i was only boxing for fun.
The situation became hostile so I LEFT to my apartment, upon leaving I was tackled and punched. I became furious, went up to my apartment and grabbed a long poll, then I went back and smashed out someones car window in anger. I was knocked out, woke up with mace in my eyes and arrested. I was the only one arrested.
They charged me with 2 3rd degree assault's and 2 degree criminal mischiefs.
To speed up the process I made a plea bargain and got 1 3rd assault & 1 3rd Crim mischief. I did 15 days in jail and still doing 120 hours of community service.
My public offender did not tell me that the felony would last 10 years.I feel i was discriminated against. Can i appeal this case? Is it too late?

It is difficult but not impossible to appeal a plea bargain. You must show that you did not know the nature of the deal. It is possible that not knowing that the felony would remain on your record is sufficient cause. Also, there are appeal deadlines. When did you enter the plea? If you'd like help preparing your appeal contact me directly.
