Legal Question in Elder Law in Washington

My mom has been in a nursing home for three years. She has dementia. Me and one of my brothers have POA.

Her sisters called and said they are moving her into an adult home. Can they do that without the POA approval?

It depends on what type of powers you and your brother have through the POA. Some POA are for healthcare, in which case, you and your brother would make all decisions regarding her care.
