Can you please tell me what is 3rd party custody exactly and also my Social Worker and everbody says just stay in compliance until the next review and we might be able to get that stopped . Also how long is the whole process.

Re: 3rd Party Custody

It is unclear what you were non-compliant on. Who is seeking third party custody? A third party custody action is when a person who not the parent of the child seeks custody of the child. How long it takes depends on local rules, but generally at least several months to a year, but you should not let it go forward without action, as certain procedural deadlines may pass while you are "waiting."
