Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Getting Custody of Kids

I recently tried to get custody of my kids, and the judge said the reasons that I had were all valid, but I needed more evidence. Nothing dire, but just that their mother is less than fit and not providing them with a good growth environment.

How do I get more evidence? Do I need to hire a social worker to document? Teachers? Doctors? Is there anything that I can do?

Re: Getting Custody of Kids

You need to convert the situation from a he said she said into more objective reporting, e.g. declarations from teachers, doctors, copies of school records, etc. What you need will depend on what has happened and who has independent knowledge of it.
