firing authority
is there any thing at all that would stop me from firing the account that my husband hired?account is for self employed business, and, our marriage is of 7years.

Your question would better fit in the business or employment categories. Generally, without knowing the details of the organization of the business and your relationship to the business, it would be impossible to say what your authority in hiring and firing would be. You should consider retaining counsel, who can collect the relevant information that would allow him or her to make a considered determination of what your authority is in this business.
