Legal Question in Family Law in Washington
need help
my gf is 16 and i am 18 and i want her to move in with me because her parents do not like her and her step dad is abusive and i was wondering how i would go about doing this legally to get her here she lives in a different state than me. any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

It is unclear from your statement where your girlfriend lives. That is the state law that will be controlling. In Washington she would need to be emancipated to be allowed to live where she wanted versus where her parents decide.
