Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Lawyer's Bill

I paid my lawyer $4000 to get my split custody back for me and today I got another bill for $6000 and he wants it in 15 days to go to trial in 3 mos. I don't have the money as I am on social security disabilty. What happens if I can't pay him? Please tell me what to do.

This is more of a contracts matter than a family law issue. You should resubmit it as a contract question, and provide information about the terms of the agreement with your attorney.
