Legal Question in Family Law in Washington

Mom needs help

my daughter is living with her father who is refusing to let my mother see her is there any way that my mother file for custody? Does she have any rights to custody? What are the rights that she does she have? How does she go about practicing those rights?

Re: Mom needs help

Usually non-parents (including grandparents) are not entitled to visitation with a child. However, there are some circumstances in which obtaining some visitation is possible. You really need to speak with a family law practitioner such as myself or someone else who can give you a good idea of what can be done.

I should also say, that if you are the mother of this child, why don't you allow your mother to see your child when the child is with you?
