Is there a law in Washington State that would convict a man who posed single on internet dating service and include pictures of himself and his minor children on his profile and coorespondence

There is no law against doing what you describe by itself. On the other hand, if the misrepresentation of the man's status led someone to suffer economic damages or provable pain and suffering, then yes, there are laws against fraud, so that one could recover damages in civil proceedings.

Unless there is a lot of money involved, (6 figures at least) I do not see the cops or FBI taking the time to get involved beyond taking a report.
