subpoena duces tecum

can i use subpoena duces tecum to request my husband to produce the sale documents of a second house and where the money went

In short, yes, but that would not be produced until trial. Better to do discovery and make a request for the production of documents. If he does not produce it, you can bring a motion to compel with sanctions for failure to do so. That will at least get you the docs before trial. If he fails to produce them still, then you can perhaps obtain an order related to the documents that would be in your favor, such as preventing him from making certain claims or defenses at trial.
