Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Washington

Broken windshield

I supposedly broke a car's windshield with a mis-hit golf ball. The owner wants me to pay but the estimate is from a dealership and their estimate is $700, which is twice as much as the estimates that I got from three other non-dealership windshield repair shop. I am willing to pay $330 which is the average of the three non-dealership estimates. She wants her car to be repaired by the dealership. It is a 7 year old car. Do you think she can win in small claims court for the full $700?

Re: Broken windshield

No, unless there is some special circumstance that only the dealership could properly address. Perhaps the difference is the glass because the dealer only sells glass with its vehicle brandname on it.
