Property damage

My daughter scratched a car in the mall parking lot. She had Mall security look at the scratch & left a note. The owner agreed to accept $230 to cover repairs. How should my daughter handle the payment to insure the owner doesn�t come back for more?

Car damage can be both surpringly expensive and suprisingly contentions. I'd have an attorney draft a settlement agreement. It'll cost some now but could save you thousands later.

Send a money order with a notation that reads "payment in full as per our agreement".
