Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Washington
Rent Refund
Landlord had someone do a walk through on the inspection sheet person put we owed $0 in fees. Gave the landlord $400 non-refundable cleaning fee. Landlord turns around and charges us $455 for painting and carpet cleaning and holds $250 until we pay our utilites that is in our name.Can he legally do this? This happened in Washington State.
