Re: Response to Complaint for Interpleader

First off, if you're in a case where there is an interpleader, you should be consulting a lawyer in person. A mere "form" isn't enough. You need to know whether it is the right type of pleading you need, based on a whole host of facts surrounding your case. It's penny-wise and pound-foolish not to at least CONSULT with a lawyer. Have a lawyer to at least walk you through the case, and do it quickly. Time limits will almost certainly apply, and if you wait too long, you may miss the opportunity to present certain defenses. In fact, if you use the wrong type of pleading, or choose the wrong "form," you may also end up waiving some defenses you would otherwise have been able to legitimately used in this suit.

Good luck to you!
