Call me. You might also find my website useful. You need an aggressive lawyer, and there are not many who fight the CPS. If I cannot handle it, I might be able to direct you to an attorney. These are very expensive matters.

I would suggest you immediately go to the CPS office and request "ALL information in any DSHS, DCFS or CPS file, regarding us or our children, as required by RCW 13.50.100." You may find the form online at http://www.wa.gov/dshs/dshsforms/forms/17_041.pdf.

(1) Fill out the form; (2) Turn it in in person at the CPS office; (3) immediately request from the receptionist, or whoever took the request, that they make you a copy of the form for your records; (4) Ask the person to stamp the copy with their received stamp, which should have the date on it; (5) Ask the person to sign as received (with the date if the stamp doesn't have it on it).

When you get the paperwork, don't write on your original copy, and keep it in the same order. I also recommend numbering each page consecutively in the lower right hand corner. (I also have my staff put their initial and the date as well, if it can be done inconspicuously.)

Read the paperwork closely, and make notes on a separate sheet of all incorrect or wrongly slanted statements and any false information or lies. But don't be surprised if you find a lot of it blacked out. If you do, you can sue them for withholding records and get a fine of from $25 to $100 for each day they withhold, as well as attorneys fees.

You are at war with a strong and powerful enemy who has virtually unlimited resources.
