Above ground pool on leased property

Can I sign a release of liability to Owner of property I'm leaseing, concerning having an above ground pool

You can do it, but the question is why would you want to? Maybe you are having the pool put in, and if so, then it's your risk, and maybe that is advisable, considering that if you refuse, the landlord will likely refuse to allow the installation.

On the other hand, if the landlord already has it installed and wants you to waive his liability, as a general proposition, I would not advise you sign it, particularly if it goes beyond someone drowning. For example, what happens if the pool bursts and water gets everywhere? Who will be liable for the unforeseen damage?

In short, your question is not so easy to answer without more information, particularly if this is a pool that is already installed.
