The attorney that is representing me in a bankruptcy filing had neglected to include import information to the Examiner. As a result his negative report has been affected several court decision. I did not see what my attorney submitted to the examiner a month or so after it was submitted. I refuted the lawyers report and the examiners report. Not sure what my attorney did with it at the time, but stated this would be taken care of in a later suit? It has been almost a year, my bill is over $600,000 just about depleting my retirement! What recourse does one have in: 1. Verifying the charges are reasonable ? 2. The damage done to our case as a result of missing information in the original report?

This is ridiculous. If you've got $600K in retirement to lose, you have something worth looking after properly. Not having your attorney copy EVERYTHING to you and reviewing it with you is a recipe for disaster.

You need to pay attention to your business,--get another attorney and get your business straightened out.
