Legal Question in Military Law in Washington

My Husband is in the military and he has a P2 profile for his sleep apnea and his chain of command is having him sleep out in the field without a tent with his sleep machine and it ie wet and muddy. Can his chain of command have him do that with his machine.

The general answer is yes. But the details of the his profile are not disclosed in just saying P2, which is just a shorthand-summary statement. I assume that the military paid for or provided the CPAP machine and if it gets damaged in the field they will repair or replace it. Just a consideration (may not be useful in your husband's physical situation), there are passive-jaw position systems that are smaller, easier to maintain and do not require electrical power.
