Legal Question in Personal Injury in Washington

I was riding my motorcycle on the freeway when I was struck by a car. His insurance admits fault (the driver admitted it to them, plus eyewitnesses). I refused the ambulance, but went to my doctor four days later, who prescribed pain medication. I have significant road rash on my arm and hip, but nothing broken.

My question is: what is reasonable compensation for pain, suffering, and anxiety? The insurance company initially offered me $500 (before I saw my doctor), and then said $750 was their ceiling. That seems to me to be pretty paultry considering what I've been through.

The offer does seem paltry. Call my friend MARTY FOX in Seattle. He's been a lawyer for over 30 years, and the focus of his practice is representing injured motorcyclists. His number is 206-728-0588. Good luck, and I hope you feel better soon. -- Sam Hochberg
