Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Washington

Objection to Notice of Removal (Change of Venue)

I have filed a case in my county with the Superior Court, and the defendants are trying to file a Notice of Filing of Notice of Removal, trying to change the venue from the county in which my business occurred, to the county in which they have an office. I have been advised to file an Objection to their Notice, and have not been able to find anyone who knows what I am talking about, nor do they know what form to use, if there even is one. Is there such a thing as an Objection to their Notice?

Re: Objection to Notice of Removal (Change of Venue)

There is no form for such a notice. You merely have to reproduce a document with the same caption as your other court documents, title it "objection to defendant's notice of removal" and in the body of the document explain why you as the plaintiff are objecting to it. You'll need to state the appropriate civil court rules and any other relevant law to support your argument.
