How long due I have to file suit after a disputed real estate transaction?

I would need to know more facts, but if it is for the recovery of possession of real estate, you may have up to 10 years, depending on the circumstances. If it is for a breach of contract, you have six years from the date or breach. If it involves fraud, you have 3 years.

Bottom line, I need more facts surrounding your case, but different causes of action (recovery of possession, fraud, breach of contract, etc.) have different statutes of limitation that apply. I suggest that you consult an attorney to know what time you have left to file a suit, as well as to determine if you even have a case worthy of pursuing.
