What you want to do is not common in Washington, although I have used a will contract for my own personal estate planning. There are some things to be aware of, as there are traps for the unwary. You will need to contact an attorney with knowledge of estate planning to make certain that your plans are properly implemented. It is not wise to simply rely upon a 'form' for important issues like this. Wills and estate plans must be done correctly as once one of the parties dies, if the documentation is not done properly, it generally cannot be corrected.
