I am widow with a will. Do I need a living trust to leave evrry thing I own to my only son?

If your will gives everything to who you want it to go to, then that should be sufficient. People choose to transfer assets to a trust for various reasons. If you do this, then sometimes a will is not necessary (if you transfer everything into the trust) but often people have both, keeping some things outside the trust.
