when i was a minor 2 or 3 yrs ago i got in bad car accident drs said i waS fine,so settled for close to nothin yrs later it still bother me,so i get it checked up again and now they find everything and have to have major surgery on my hip,which will affect me for life,and they said i could reclaim if any problems came up before i turned 21,so what should i do?

It is important that you consult a lawyer as soon as possible. It should be a no fee consultation. The Statute of Limitations is a law that prevents suit and recovery if you wait too long. The general rule is if you are under the age of 18 when you are injured, the Statute of Limitations begins at 18 and runs for 2 years. If there was a settlement without court approval, you can reopen the case. If there was court approval, it will be more difficult to reopen the case.
