Legal Question in Social Security Law in West Virginia

Widow benefits in Social Security how it discriminates against those who re-marr

I have move then one question pertaining to widow benefits. I lost my husband; we had a three-year-old daughter together after being married for 5 years. I do receive benefits for my daughter until she is 18. I had received also widow benefits after the death of my husband. I have re-married, when you re-marry you loose your benefits which I have. I could have kept my benefits and just lived together but my religious beliefs do not allow me to do so. Is this not a kind of discrimination? If it is is there any recourse I can take?
