How many months due you have after a person dies to probate the will?

In West Virginia, the custodian of the Last Will and Testament of a person who is deceased has 30 days after the death is known to him or her. It is a misdemeanor not to do so. There is also a civil liability for not presenting the will. One does not have to qualify as the personal representative but could merely lodge the will with the County Commission.
