responsiblities of exceutor of estate and who pays debts?

What are the responsiblities of the exceutor of the estate and if there is not enough money from the sale of the estate who is responsible for the outstanding debts?

Generally, valid creditor claims are paid off of the top of an estate. Hire a qualified estate and trust lawyer in your area to assist you in determining which creditors have valid claims.

If the estate has insufficient assets to pay valid claims then your state has a statutory system for that.
