If there's an error in the terms of an automobile purchase contract does that make the whole contract void?

No, business contracts generally are not totally voided due to one mistake. Rather, courts enforcing iit would usually attempt to reform the remaining parts to make the rest of the contract sensible, There are exceptions to every rule, however., particularly in consumer protection matters, where a unique set of rules apply.
