Accused rights

Does an accused person being represented by a state atty. have the right to take the stand to testify for themselves even if the atty. does not agree with it.

The decison to testify or not is entirely and exclusively yours. You should, however, consult with your counsel -- many times this is a bad idea, particulary if you have prior convictions. Call with any questions
