Legal Question in Criminal Law in Wisconsin

Info on FBI Background Report

I am applying for an important position, and the application requires listing of all infractions minus parking. I haven't committed any violent acts, yet there are a few things I'd rather not list on the application, all considered ordinance violations/underage drinking. I have been fingerprinted (booked?) After the interview, if I move on, I am required to submit an FBI Background Report. Do these reports show things like ordinance violations? I don't pull up anything on the state circuit court website or on a basic ''criminal record'' search.

Info on FBI Background Report, Federal Security Clearance Investigations

If you are applying for a position requiring a top secret security clearance, the investigation is likely to be far more thorough than a routine criminal background variety of record check. You should immediately retain an attorney who specializes in federal employment/security clearance matters to advise you. Unless you are acting upon competent legal advice, I would recommend taking all application questions at face value and respond truthfully. The honesty of your response (as compared to what the investigation finds) is sometimes used as one of the evaluation criteria in deciding who gets/retains such a job. Very few of us have a past which is completely unblemished and minor matters, particularly from when you were young, may be forgiven more readily than lying in order to cover them up. You may need to look in Washington DC in order to find such a lawyer.
