Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Wisconsin

Name calling after termination.

I was fired from my job of ten years for excessive tardiness. I was granted unemployment benefits, which my former employer appealed and lost. At the UI hearing the manager that fired me lied under oath several times. The administrative law judge pointed out her discrepancies to which she had no answer. After the hearing was over my former manager called me,''a skinny little black b****.'' She did this right as the elevator doors closed. I now think this is why she fired me.Do I have a case against my former employer or the manager? I'm a single mom of two and she has ruined me financially.

Re: Name calling after termination.

Even if your supervisor is a racist, your case would turn on being able to show that non-blacks who had the same or similar tardiness/absenteeism records were not terminated. If you think that is true, you might have a case.
