Changing Locks on House

My husband and i are in the process of splitting up. He is moving out, may i change the locks on my house once he moves, or must he have access to the house untill there is a court order?

Re: Changing Locks on House

Since your husband is voluntarily moving out, you

will be the only one with management and control

of the home. At that point, you would certainly

have the right to change locks. If your husband

then wants access, he can provide you with

reasonable notice for access at reasonable times.

Once the divorce action commences, you will both be

subject to a temporary order that will set forth

such terms.
