Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

my fiancs ex is currently 8 months pregnant, supposedly with his child. me and him want to try to get full custody of the child to hopefully give it a better life. the mother has no job and no college education, she's openly admitted her parents will be paying for everything, and she has a history of being abusive. me and the father on the other hand are both employed, i am in college and we are more than willing to take full custody to try to give the child the best life possible. is there any chance on winning? thank you very much for your time!

You can negotiate with her, but you have little chance to do so in Wisconsin. WI presumes that involvement by both parents is what is in the child best interest. They include sex offenders, DUI, domestic abusers and the like. The case law would make you sick.

You can make an argument on primary placement but again comes the both parents defense.

This is one you would need to find a great lawyer, and have a lot of money to spend ad still have less than a 50/50 chance.

Sorry but it is just how Wisconsin is.
