Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

Can I violate a court ordered child placement if I found out my child was being emotionally abused? My child's counsoler just told me that my child is being emotionally abused by her father and that she is willing to testify in court.

Before you violate a court order, you should speak to an experienced family law attorney. This appears to be a very serious situation, but violating court orders can in some cases lead to criminal charges. An attorney will be able to help you make this choice. In any event, you can also file a motion to revise the custody and placement of your child. The counselor's testimony could be very helpful in that case.
