Legal Question in Family Law in Wisconsin

In wisconsin after my divorce was final and my ex was awarded a vehicle with a loan that is in both of our names. Is she required to remove me from this loan or how does this work. She has been severly late and it is hurting my credit score. What can I possibly do about this?

Often Marital Settlement Agreements or Findings of Facts, Conclusions of Law and Judgments of Divorce spell out how soon a spouse must refinance a vehicle loan into their own name. That does not mean that the loan holder will be willing to refinance the vehicle. It is not uncommon for a former spouse to be forced to file a contempt motion in the hopes that the Court will order that the vehicle be refinanced or sold, if refinancing is not available.
