Did she obtain legal permanent residence through her husband? Even if that is the case, if she divorces him, there are ways for her to be able to remain in the country. You should consult this matter with an attorney so you can be better prepared for the steps you both need to take. Feel free to contact me in private to discuss the matter further.

An immigration attorney can help her stay in the US despite divorcing.
