Breach of Confidentuality regarding injury in the workplace

Can my place of employment,accuse me of breach of confidentiality of an injured worker that I took care of under the first aid team at work. In which people have started rumors that I reveled the status of her condition, they are trying to say I broke some code of ethics, based on here say. Please tell me of my legal rights!

Hello, I wish I could give you an opinion, but I cannot without more facts. I dont know what you say you did and employer says you did -- in detail. I am sure about what rules they said you violated, whether you were terminated. Your employer can accuse you of anything they want, whether you have any legal rights to do anything about it, I cant answer based on the facts presented. Best wishes, Mark J. Mahoney
