medical termanation

i have been ill and cant work i have been absent fron work for 16 weeks now last week my employer came by my house and said i was beeing replaced the doctors cant find out whats wrong they think its anaity related i and seeing a theripest and am going to atted a grop for social ansity can my employer just let me go like that or do i have some way to get my job back thank you for any help you can give me
