NSF Work Check

My job has one owner and he writes personal checks as payment of work, and just recently my checked bounce and i cant get a hold of him, i talked to the bank and they said to have him do an electronic transfer, and i also learned that im not the only one whos checks have bounced. So what are my options

You can file a complaint in state or federal court based on this "wage-and-hour" law violation. These require filing fees, but they allow you to ask for and recover some-to-all of your attorney fees (if you hired an attorney).

Alternatively, you can file a complaint with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development Labor Standards Bureau (http://www.dwd.state.wi.us/er/labor_standards_bureau/wage_payment_and_collection_law.htm). There is no filing fee, but you cannot recover attorney fees if you hire an attorney.
