Legal Question in Employment Law in Wisconsin

i worked for a temp agency for a few days. when i received my fisrt check i was short 8 hours. i immediately called and went back to the agency and was told that it happens and to fill out a payment descrapancy form. i have been waiting for 3 weeks to be compensated and am being told they now have no proof of the day in question.

what can i do? i was just offered 4 hours for my trouble . i am mad, i worked hard and long, and i want what i am due.
