can my landlord show pictures of the damages i caused to their rental property to people not on the lease

Yes, if he is preparing a claim against you, it is perfectly normal to involve experts or other neutral parties in order to determine what his damages are. Additionally, if he sues you, everthing in the court file will become public record. While you might have certain privacy rights, the after effects of your former tenancy is not among them, if there is an issue of damages which you owe. Get a lawyer to reach your final conclusion in this matter and provide all the facts, but based upon the tiny bit of information here, privacy rights about alleged damages you created in the past are limited.
