renters lease

I have a verbal agreement with the landlord, for one year lease. Now he's selling the house to a private owner who wants to move in ..Do I have any recourse except thirty days to get out????

With a verbal lease, you have what is legally referred to as a "Tenancy at Will." Those can be broken by either side by simply giving appropriate notice.
