To get a divorce to save on having a chiled by getting state aid.

my wife and i are considering getting a devorce (on paper) to help us afored having a chiled. after we got married my wife had lost aid with school. even thoue we live a modest life were still strugaling. and both having my wife finish school and or desier to have a chiled have ben put out ot of reach becouse of our marrige. THE ? I HAVE IS; IS IT AGINST THE LAW TO GET STATE AID THIS WAY. I KNOW SEVRIL PEOPLE WHO HAVE USED STATE MONEY TO HELP THEM SELVES THREW HARD TIMES BUT THEY HAVE NOT BEN MARRIED.

I don't know if this rises to the level of fraud, but it seems to me that your priorities are screwed up.

If you can't afford to have a child, you shouldn't have one. You're not doing ANYONE any favors, least of all the child. If you can't afford to go to school, there are ways of doing it without sinking to what you're suggesting. I would recommend that you get some books from the library, or sit at Borders for a few days, learning about financial planning so that you can use the resources you have to improve your life.

Chances are, there are a LOT of alternatives out there, you just don't know about them yet. For example, before I would have a child without knowing where MY next meal is coming from, I would get a second job. Animals build nests before depositing eggs, they don't just drop them on the street corner. Think of your child before you think of your own desires, because if you're selfish now, that child doesn't stand a chance once born. [/off pulpit]
